On the evening of December 16, at the Dragon Bridge area on the west bank of the Han River, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City organized the program "Lighting the Christmas tree", officially opening the series of festival activities to welcome Christmas - New Year Da Nang 2025 (Danang X'mas - New Year Festival 2025).

The 20m high light tree is one of three impressive check-in models at the Christmas - New Year festival in Da Nang 2025. The other two models are a unique giant gift box and the words "Da Nang welcomes the new year 2025".

The Christmas and New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025 will take place for the first time in Da Nang City, lasting for 20 days (December 14, 2024 - January 2, 2025) at 3 main locations around the Dragon Bridge, including 2 locations on the west bank of the Han River and 1 location on the east bank.

The festival's exciting activities include: the opening ceremony on the evening of December 20, a Christmas market with entertainment and experience spaces, and art performances from December 20, 2024 to January 2, 2025.

In the 3 main spaces of the festival, there are also a series of mini-game activities for visitors and children such as Christmas tree decoration contests, Santa Claus costumes, making cards, candles, laurel wreaths...

Previously, on the evening of December 7, at Hoiana Resort & Golf (Quang Nam), a Christmas tree lighting ceremony was also held and the program "Lighting up Dreams" was launched to raise funds to support the Quang Nam Center for Support and Inclusive Education for Hearing Impaired Children, under the Hearing & Beyond Organization.
