After officially becoming the representative of Ninh Binh Culture and Tourism, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh shared her first thoughts with Ninh Binh Newspaper reporters about her new position and new responsibilities.
Reporter: Hello Xuan Hanh, how do you feel about being chosen as the representative of Ninh Binh province's Cultural Tourism image?
Miss Bui Thi Xuan Hanh: As a native of Ninh Binh, born and raised in this land, I always carry within me pride in my homeland - a land blessed by nature with captivating beauty, unique cultural and historical values, and friendly, hospitable people.
I am honored to be the representative of the province's cultural and tourism image, I am extremely moved and proud. In my new position, I am aware of my great responsibility. With all my gratitude and sincerity, I promise to do my best to bring the image, culture and tourism of Ninh Binh to domestic and international tourists.
I will use my image, voice and influence to introduce the beauty of my homeland, from famous landscapes such as Trang An, Tam Coc-Bich Dong, Hoa Lu, Bai Dinh... to simple villages, delicious specialties and the friendly, hospitable people of Ninh Binh.
Reporter: Chosen as the representative of Ninh Binh Cultural Tourism, what does Xuan Hanh think she will do to promote the beauty of Ninh Binh land and people?
Miss Bui Thi Xuan Hanh: With the title of Miss Universe Vietnam (Miss Cosmo Vietnam), Xuan Hanh is honored to be the first daughter of Ninh Binh to win the highest prize in a national beauty contest. Since being crowned, I have shared with the media my desire to contribute to promoting and spreading the beauty of the country, the people of Vietnam as well as the land and homeland of Ninh Binh.
In the series of activities when returning to my hometown after being crowned, my team and I visited some famous tourist areas and spots of the province such as: Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Hoa Lu Ancient Town... Here, we had many activities such as: recording, taking photos, making clips... to promote the image of my hometown, Ninh Binh people, the potential for cultural tourism development of the province, which owns the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - World Cultural and Natural Heritage and the only mixed heritage in Southeast Asia.
As a native of Ninh Binh, especially after being crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, I always aspire to contribute to promoting and spreading the beauty of my homeland, along with the message of protecting the environment, ecological landscape, preserving and promoting the invaluable values of cultural and natural resources, serving sustainable development.
With this new mission, I will accompany the departments, branches and sectors of Ninh Binh province in promoting the image, tourism potential and unique cultural values of Ninh Binh to domestic and international tourists. Xuan Hanh hopes that she will contribute significantly to promoting the development of Ninh Binh tourism industry even more strongly.
Reporter: If you introduce Ninh Binh to international friends in the upcoming Miss Cosmo International 2024 contest, what will Xuan Hanh say?
Miss Bui Thi Xuan Hanh: Cultural stories and beautiful images and films about Ninh Binh tourism are always a source of creative inspiration and motivation for me to develop new ideas and promotional projects in the future. At the same time, they are the luggage for me to bring to fashion and cultural events, especially the international Miss Cosmo contest which will be held for the first time in Vietnam in 2024.
The highlight of Miss Cosmo 2024 is a series of vibrant and culturally rich festivals in many provinces and cities with the theme "Vivid Vietnam - Vibrant Vietnam" through a series of festivals from North to South to promote the beauty of the country, culture, tourism and people of Vietnam to international friends.
In Ninh Binh, Miss Cosmo contestants from more than 80 countries will have the opportunity to visit and explore the beauty of Trang An - Bai Dinh - Hoa Lu - Khe Coc - Thung Nham scenic areas... which are the beautiful landscapes that nature has bestowed upon Ninh Binh. This is a great opportunity for me to introduce the beauty of Ninh Binh culture and tourism to international friends. I am proud to be a Ninh Binh native to introduce my hometown at Miss Cosmo International 2024.
Reporter: As the first native of Ninh Binh to win the highest prize of a national beauty contest, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 (Miss Cosmo Vietnam) and soon to represent Vietnam at Miss Cosmo International 2024, what preparations has Xuan Hanh made?
Miss Bui Thi Xuan Hanh: Xuan Hanh's "Road To Miss Cosmo 2024" journey has officially begun. This series will most clearly depict the training process and careful preparation of the Vietnamese representative before entering the international arena. From physical training, catwalk, foreign language, to mental and style training, every moment is recorded realistically and vividly.
Xuan Hanh believes that she will join the bravery and confidence of the young Vietnamese generation with the desire to conquer and overcome all challenges to make Vietnam shine in the international beauty arena.
