Miss Grand Thailand 2022 Engfa Waraha and runner-up Charlotte Austin recently held a concert in the US. At the concert, the former Miss Grand Thailand wore an outfit in the Y2K style. Notably, the top part of the outfit looked like a bikini, only suitable for the beach.
Because she performed on stage and received money from the audience, Engfa Waraha repeatedly bowed to receive the money, revealing several rather sensitive moments on stage.
In the comments section, alongside audience members supporting Engfa, many people argued that her outfit was inappropriate, especially when performing in a crowded place, as bending down could expose unwanted parts of her body.
Many people also believe that the image of a beauty queen wearing a swimsuit on a music stage is inappropriate. Engfa was once criticized for wearing a see-through outfit while hosting a show, but that was a bikini show, so she received more understanding than she does now.

This also marks the first time the president of Miss Grand Thailand has brought the beauty queens to the US as performing artists (previously, talents from MGI only went abroad for charity work or in their roles as beauty queens).
Miss Grand International is planning to leverage its beauty queens in various fields, from singing and performing to online business.
Engfa Waraha was crowned Miss Grand Thailand and represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022, where she won first runner-up. At the time of her announcement, she was criticized by many beauty pageant fans for being undeserving due to numerous basic errors in her English presentation.
But in reality, Engfa Waraha is the most commercially successful beauty queen among those who emerged from Miss Grand Thailand. She achieved success by pairing up with 5th runner-up Charlotte Austin, creating the lucrative Englot brand. Although they have never publicly dated, Engfa's public declaration of being LGBTQ+ has led fans to believe the two are in a relationship.
Having been a singer before becoming a beauty queen, Engfa is capable of performing on stage. However, her overly flamboyant dance moves and somewhat revealing outfits have drawn considerable criticism.
