From mid-October, the road from Yen Bai to Ta Xua is dotted with early-blooming peach trees. October is the cloud-hunting season on the summit of Ta Xua, and many tourists, having heard about the blossoms, flock there to take photos with them.
Ta Xua, situated at an altitude of 2,800 meters above sea level, is one of the highest mountain peaks in Vietnam, located in Bac Yen district, Son La province, bordering Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province. Located 240 km from Hanoi , Ta Xua enjoys a cool climate year-round. Besides its famous sea of clouds, the mountain peak also attracts visitors to admire the peach blossom gardens that typically bloom from early December to February.
