In November, the road leading to the top of Ba Vi Mountain is like a painting with the main yellow color painted by blooming wild sunflowers. Tourists compete to climb the mountain to take photos and check-in.

Early November is the time when wild sunflowers bloom at the most on Ba Vi Mountain (in Ba Vi National Park). In the cool weather and gentle sunshine, many groups of tourists start to come here to blend in with nature and admire the natural beauty of this wild flower.

Along the 12.5 km stretch from Point 100 to the top of the mountain, this flower covers the entire space on the mountain in gold. Visitors can walk and climb the mountain in the most blooming wild sunflowers to experience it.

Wild sunflowers in Ba Vi National Park were brought here by the French to plant from 1930 to 1945. Over time, wild sunflowers have become a symbol of Ba Vi, making this place an ideal destination for tourists every winter.

Wild sunflower, also known as chrysanthemum, mountain sunflower, wild sunflower, is an easy-to-grow, fast-growing plant, usually blooming in late autumn, early winter (around late October to early December every year), each flower usually has 12 to 13 petals, about 8 - 10 cm in size, bright yellow petals, sunflower, round pistil, full of vitality, showing pride in never succumbing to the harshness of nature.

After buying a ticket, from the control gate up the 400m level through winding curves, visitors can admire the bright yellow wild sunflowers along both sides of the road.

The wild sunflower forest here has an area of ​​over 10 hectares, including 5 areas, with a walking trail over 3 km long. When walking among the bright yellow flower carpet mixed with the vast green forest of Tan Mountain, visitors will be immersed in the love story of Saint Tan Vien Son Tinh and Princess Ngoc Hoa or the romantic love story in "The Legend of Wild Sunflowers".

From Hanoi, visitors can go in the direction of Thang Long Avenue or National Highway 32, then follow Provincial Road 414 (Son Tay - Da Chong) to Km8 + 800m, there will be a sign directing visitors to turn left into Ba Vi National Park.
