In March, coffee blossoms blanket the hillsides and plantations of Dak Lak , attracting tourists to visit.
Dak Lak, the coffee capital, boasts over 200,000 hectares of coffee plantations, providing the main source of income for most farmers in the Central Highlands provinces. The coffee flowering season signals the start of a new harvest. By observing the blossoms on the branches, farmers can estimate the harvest yield at the end of the year.

Coffee flowering season in Dak Lak usually peaks in February and March. Before the coffee flowers begin to bud and bloom, growers typically increase watering and nurture the plants for about 3-4 rounds.
Mr. Le Van Vuong, Director of Vuong Thanh Cong Company in Dak Lak, said that since the beginning of January, his company has been offering free tours for tourists to admire coffee blossoms, enjoy tea, and learn about agricultural tourism products associated with coffee.

Each coffee plant typically blooms twice, each bloom lasting about 5-7 days before fading. The second bloom follows about 15 days later, but the quantity and density of flowers are not as great as the first. Currently, some plantations in Dak Lak have already passed the first bloom.
Coffee blossoms typically bloom simultaneously because the trees are watered at the same time. If you arrive at the right time, after just one morning, you'll wake up to find the pristine white blossoms covering the hillsides, plantations, and every road in the coffee-growing region of Buon Ma Thuot.

The pristine white of the coffee blossoms stands out against the green of the leaves and the red basalt soil, all bathed in golden sunlight, making the landscape of the Central Highlands even more striking, beautiful, and expansive.
The fragrance of coffee blossoms is also captivating, subtly sweet. The coffee blossom season is also the season when bees collect honey.

Having been involved with coffee cultivation for 30 years, every flowering season, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen (Hamlet 4, Ea Kao Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) is still captivated and moved by the beauty and soothing fragrance of coffee blossoms.

A group of young people from Ea Kao commune and Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, chose the most beautiful blooming coffee flower garden in Ea Kao commune to take commemorative photos. They said that seeing the coffee flowers bloom allows them to predict that the trees will bear abundant fruit. Coffee prices were high this past harvest season, bringing joy to the farmers.

Le Thi Nga, 26 years old, chose to wear the traditional attire of the Ede people for her photoshoot, immersing herself in the beauty of coffee blossoms.

The coffee flowering season in Dak Lak usually lasts for about a month, divided into several phases in different districts. March is also the most beautiful time of year to visit the Central Highlands when the weather is clear and cool. Mr. Vuong said that, in addition to visiting and admiring the flower gardens, tourists can learn about products processed from coffee flowers such as coffee flower honey, pollen, and coffee flower tea.
Visitors wishing to check out the coffee blossoms should research the flowering schedule at their destination beforehand. It's recommended to combine this with visits to villages near the city or to the Dray Sap waterfall, located 30 km from Buon Ma Thuot.
