The provincial government also focuses on improving infrastructure, creating a favorable environment for businesses to invest and supporting communities to develop sustainable tourism.
Hoa Binh tourism is focusing on four main strengths: eco-resort tourism, community tourism, spiritual culture, and recreational sports. Destinations such as Mai Chau, Da Bac, Tan Lac, Cao Phong have been heavily invested, especially in developing community tourism in ethnic minority villages. Hoa Binh also exploits traditional sports and organizes international sports events, such as cycling, golf, or paragliding to increase attractiveness.
In 2023, Hoa Binh welcomed 3.8 million visitors, an increase of 21.5% over the same period, with revenue reaching VND4,000 billion. In the first 6 months of 2024, the province continued to maintain its growth momentum, estimated to welcome 2.6 million visitors, with a target of 4.2 million visitors for the whole year. By 2025, Hoa Binh is expected to attract 4.9 million visitors and bring in revenue of VND5,400 billion.
To achieve these goals, Hoa Binh will continue to promote its image, expand cooperation with tourism businesses, and preserve and promote traditional cultural values.
