At the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Khanh introduced the general potential strengths and socio-economic development situation of the locality. At the same time, he emphasized that Hoa Binh aims to attract investment in four main areas: high-quality, modern supporting industry production; production and processing of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; development of resort tourism; and urban development associated with ecology.
Hoa Binh is also planning to prioritize investment in necessary infrastructure such as roads, power supply, construction planning, etc. in potential and advantageous locations to facilitate investors.
With the viewpoint that “Hoa Binh Provincial Government always warmly welcomes enterprises and investors, supports and accompanies enterprises and investors for mutual development”, Hoa Binh Province will create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to successfully implement projects and ensure sustainable development. Hoa Binh is truly a sustainable investment destination for investors.

At the conference, Mr. Sandeep Arya, Ambassador of India to Vietnam, affirmed that the bilateral diplomatic cooperation between Vietnam and India has been extensive for many years, considering each other as important partners. The Ambassador expressed his belief that cooperation between the two countries will be even stronger and more dynamic in the future. In fact, Vietnam and India have had cooperation projects worth about 15 billion USD. However, there is still a lot of potential between the two countries, with large room for continued growth in the coming years.
The 2024 India Meet in Hoa Binh province represents a concrete step in the two countries' commitments to bilateral cooperation. Mr. Sandeep Arya, Ambassador of India to Vietnam, expressed that Hoa Binh is one of the provinces with potential for investment cooperation. In particular, the areas with high potential for cooperation are high-tech agriculture, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and tourism. In addition, Indian and Hoa Binh enterprises can study and expand cooperation in areas such as finance, infrastructure, electrification, thermal power plants, hydropower, renewable energy technology, etc.
At the conference, the two sides discussed and exchanged the following contents: The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hoa Binh province presented the potential of agriculture, forestry and food processing in Hoa Binh; the Department of Health presented the potential for cooperation in the field of health in Hoa Binh; the representative of RV Group in Vietnam presented the activities of RV Group in Vietnam; the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented the potential for tourism cooperation with India; Mr. SubhashChandar, DMC Travel/Indigo Company presented the potential for cooperation in the field of tourism between India and Hoa Binh.
