Maximum support of 200 million VND for leasing scientific and technological infrastructure assets

DNO - The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has just issued Notice No. 10/TB-SKHCN dated January 21, 2025 on financial support for leasing scientific and technological infrastructure assets according to the provisions of Resolution No. 56/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council.

Accordingly, to implement Resolution No. 56/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2024 of the City People's Council regulating the exploitation, assignment, handling and funding support for the use of scientific and technological infrastructure assets in Da Nang city, units assigned with scientific and technological infrastructure assets will receive support requests in 2025.

Specifically, the scope of rental funding support is the scientific and technological infrastructure assets assigned to the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks of Da Nang, the Da Nang Biotechnology Center (Department of Science and Technology), the Center for Supporting Innovative Startups (Department of Science and Technology) for exploitation and other assets approved as scientific and technological infrastructure assets.

Supported subjects are domestic and foreign innovative start-up organizations and individuals with innovative start-up projects in the city; organizations and individuals supporting innovative start-ups include intermediary organizations supporting innovative start-ups, fund management enterprises, and domestic and foreign investment funds. The support period shall not exceed 5 years for an organization or individual.

Accordingly, 100% of the cost of renting scientific and technological infrastructure assets for individuals will be supported, with a maximum support level of 30 million VND/individual/year. 70% of the cost of renting scientific and technological infrastructure assets for organizations will be supported, with a maximum support level of 200 million VND/organization/year.
