Previously, at around 3:30 p.m. on April 11, a fire burned down two stilt houses and many properties of the households of Y Oan Uong (born in 1983) and Y Tlam Hlong (born in 1962), both residing in Dar Ju hamlet.
In addition to the property damage of these two households, the property of another household, the daughter of Mr. Y Tlam Hlong's family, was also burned down (because they were building a new house, they left all their belongings and furniture at their parents' house). Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human damage.
Leaders of Bong Krang commune presented necessities to support affected families. |
It is known that Mr. Y Tlam's household is a near-poor household in the locality, while Mr. Y Oan's household has just escaped poverty. Currently, these families have been temporarily arranged accommodation by the locality at an unused school site.
After the fire broke out, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bong Krang commune issued a letter calling on organizations and individuals to support and help the two families overcome their immediate difficulties. In the first days of the appeal, organizations and individuals donated cash, necessities, and daily necessities, with a total estimated value of about 50 million VND to the three families.
