Support small and medium enterprises to borrow capital with preferential interest rates

Specifically, small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to borrow capital from the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund with preferential interest rates from 1.2%/year for short-term working capital loans and 4.4%/year for medium and long-term loans. The maximum loan term is 7 years, with a 2-year interest grace period, with a maximum loan amount of VND 150 billion and a minimum of VND 300 million. Supported subjects include innovative start-up small and medium-sized enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises participating in industry clusters, and small and medium-sized enterprises participating in value chains. It is known that by the end of 2023, the country had 39 projects supported by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, Ministry of Planning and Investment with a total contract amount of VND 682 billion.
