Support investment in building 2 tourist destinations in ethnic minority areas

Buon Tong Ju (Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city) and Buon Jun (Lien Son town, Lak district) are two villages of the province that are supported to invest in building typical tourist destinations, according to the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, phase 1: from 2021 to 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2433/QD-UBND dated November 16, 2023 on approving the investment project to build the Project: Support investment in building typical tourist destinations in Tong Ju village, Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city and Jun village, Lien Son town, Lak district (Project).

The Project aims to restore, preserve and promote traditional cultural values, train and foster cultural staff; support cultural facilities and equipment for ethnic minority and mountainous areas to enhance cultural enjoyment for ethnic minorities associated with community cultural development, with priority given to ethnic minorities.

Tourists experience brocade weaving at Tong Bong brocade weaving cooperative (Tong Ju village, Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city).

Buon Tong Ju (Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city) and Buon Jun (Lien Son town, Lak district) will be equipped with musical instruments and performance props; financial support for purchasing computers, tables and chairs for placing computers and electronic tourism information pages, waste collection and treatment systems; toilets; installation of solar lighting systems; construction and installation of signs and billboards; environmental landscape improvement... Depending on the actual situation of each locality, there will be appropriate support items.
