Tax offices will process the received real estate applications in order, without any interruption. It is expected that within 10 days, all the applications that have been pending for nearly 2 months will be processed.

It takes about 10 days to release the backlog of real estate tax records.

According to Tuoi Tre Online , today, September 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and tax branches worked all weekend to resolve pending land records according to urgent instructions issued last night.

The backlog of real estate tax records due to waiting for the issuance of land price lists at the branches is very large.

Mostly at tax offices such as: Thu Duc City Tax Office, Hoc Mon District Tax Office, Cu Chi District Tax Office... are localities with bustling real estate transactions.

Many other districts also have a backlog of real estate records ranging from several hundred to thousands of records.

Present at the Go Vap District Tax Department at noon on September 22, Tuoi Tre Online recorded that even though it was Sunday afternoon, the real estate registration department was still actively processing documents for people.

Around and on the desks of civil servants, many real estate files are piled high waiting to be resolved.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Bac, deputy head of the Go Vap District Tax Department, said that the unit still has 986 real estate tax records, including 555 records received in August and 431 records received in September.

Of these, 789 files are subject to tax, the rest are not subject to tax (gifts, inheritances...).

"Last night, after receiving instructions from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, the unit mobilized officers and civil servants of the real estate registration department to work this morning to actively process documents for people," said Mr. Bac.

At the same time, from tomorrow, the Go Vap District Tax Department will increase the number of staff for the real estate registration department to speed up the processing of pending real estate records.

In addition, to be transparent and avoid people being impatient, the Go Vap District Tax Department will also provide specific information about the time to return the documents to people via text messages and post them at the tax office headquarters.

At the Binh Thanh District Tax Department, the backlog of documents is similar. At noon on September 22, there were still 10 tax officials working hard to resolve outstanding real estate tax documents - Photo: ANH HONG

At the Binh Thanh District Tax Department, at noon on September 22, there were still 10 tax officials diligently processing outstanding real estate tax records. On the table and around them were stacks of real estate records waiting.

Mr. Tran Minh Nha, Deputy Head of the Binh Thanh District Tax Department, said that after the urgent directive on the evening of September 21 from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department that the tax agency would work on Saturdays and Sundays to quickly resolve outstanding land records, the tax department immediately mobilized tax officers from the real estate registration department to work from this morning.

On the other hand, on the morning of September 22, leaders of the tax department, registration office... discussed plans to quickly resolve the backlog of files.

The tax department will prioritize processing applications in the order they are submitted - Photo: ANH HONG

The tax department will prioritize processing the applications in the order of submission, with applications submitted first being processed first, except in cases where problems arise and the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department must be consulted.

Meanwhile, Mr. Phan Van Dung, head of the Thu Duc City Tax Department, said that this place currently has about 1,600 files and is also the area with the largest amount of files because the Thu Duc City Tax Department was formed on the basis of 3 previous districts: District 2, District 9, Thu Duc District and this is where there are large real estate transactions.

"Thu Duc City Tax Department has requested specialized departments to make a specific plan to handle the documents for approval by the Tax Department's leaders.

Although the number of documents is large, the number of civil servants handling real estate registration documents is quite large, up to 25 people and will increase in the coming days, so the progress will be accelerated," Mr. Dung emphasized.

The leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department said that immediately after the City People's Committee issued document 5635 "removing obstacles", allowing the use of the current land price list to calculate taxes while waiting for the issuance of the new land price list, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department issued urgent instructions to tax branches in the area.

According to this direction, heads of tax branches must prioritize and focus resources to resolve as soon as possible land records received from August 1.

The Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and local tax branches will work on Saturdays and Sundays to quickly resolve outstanding land records.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department requires the heads of tax branches in the area to be responsible for organizing the processing of land records, not allowing any trouble, harassment, or negativity to arise.
