Ho Quynh Huong tells the story of being "fed, housed, and receiving monthly allowance"

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, female singer Ho Quynh Huong shared on Vietnamnet about her time studying vocal music:

"The military school was very disciplined and orderly. With just one gong, we knew what time to go to bed, wake up, eat, study... Everything had to be precise and strict. Anyone who did not follow the rules would be punished immediately."

The female singer said that the teacher who had the most influence on her during her music studies was artist Ha Thuy. Thanks to the strict teachings of Meritorious Artist Ha Thuy, Ho Quynh Huong "was fed and housed, and received a monthly allowance":

"Ms. Ha Thuy is famous for being strict. When I didn't meet my academic requirements, she got angry but then encouraged and comforted me. As a student, being 'knocked on the head' is normal, I'm just like everyone else.

Just like that, I was fed, housed, educated, and even received a monthly allowance thanks to my good academic performance, always getting A's.

When I returned to college, I felt a bit of pressure because I was famous, but it was also an advantage because I had performing experience and my singing voice had also matured a lot."

Ho Quynh Huong graduated from the Military University of Culture and Arts.

Ho Quynh Huong also revealed that when she became a vocal teacher, she always required her students to be able to withstand pressure and not be afraid of strict teachers:

"I think that if you work in art, don't be afraid of strict teachers. Being picky or harsh only means wanting students to study better. If you can't handle the pressure of studying from the beginning, you won't be able to survive in this profession later on because the art environment is much more strict."

"When teaching, I always ask from the beginning about your ability to handle professional pressure. If you can't handle it, you should change careers because art always requires contact and facing the majority," the female singer emphasized.

MC Lai Van Sam announces the principle that will never be broken

In episode 4 of the show Co hen cung thanh xuan , MC Lai Van Sam revealed his principle that he will never break, which is not wearing makeup.

Specifically, the program gave a challenge to dress up to look older to accompany the elderly in the nursing home. The male MC agreed with the meaning of this challenge, but he refused to wear makeup for the following reason:

"My principle for decades in the profession: No one is allowed to touch my face. Vietnam Television is also not allowed to touch my face."

When the backstage staff persuaded the male MC to let him put on makeup and accept the challenge, Lai Van Sam frankly declared:

"I have always had my own principle, which is that no one is allowed to touch my face. If they touch my face, I will not appear on camera again. I still maintain that principle."

"I don't care what my face looks like."

Regarding the reason for steadfastly maintaining this special principle, MC Lai Van Sam said: "Simply, I want to be myself, no matter how old or young I am, I'm still me. Whatever my face looks like, just ignore it."

Finally, at Hong Van's suggestion, Lai Van Sam accepted "aging" by wearing a salt and pepper wig and a beard to participate in the challenge.
