Laos coach impressed by one thing about Vietnam team

Coach Ha Hyeok-jun of the Laos team has many compliments for Vietnam.

After the match at Go Dau Stadium (Binh Duong), coach Ha Hyeok-jun of the Lao team shared his thoughts. "First of all, I would like to congratulate the victory of the Vietnamese team. I know that Vietnam is a strong team and I am impressed with the way you deployed your tactics," coach Ha Hyeok-jun opened the press conference.

"The average age of the Laos team ranges from 21 to 22 years old. This is not necessarily a preparation for the future, but simply because I always prioritize the players in the best form, even though they are very young. You also saw that at the ASEAN Cup 2024, when we were one of the teams with the youngest squad in the tournament," the Korean coach continued.

According to Mr. Ha Hyeok-jun, since his first days working in Laos, he has clearly seen the difference between Laos' football and countries like Vietnam or other developed countries. Over the past time, this military leader has been trying to overcome the problem.

Sharing more about the heavy defeat against the Vietnamese team, the Laos coach said: "This time, we only have less than 10 days to work together, but my goal is to narrow the gap between Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. I believe I still have time to prepare well for the upcoming SEA Games."
