(Dan Tri) - Coach Ruben Amorim made his first big decision as Man Utd coach when he decided to prevent a player from leaving Man Utd.
Yesterday (November 17), coach Ruben Amorim applied for a work permit in England and officially led Man Utd. On the very first day as head coach of the Red Devils, the Portuguese coach made an important decision regarding transfers.

According to Football Insider, the 39-year-old coach blocked the transfer of 17-year-old Harry Amass. Previously, Man Utd wanted to sell this player to Aston Villa but coach Ruben Amorim wanted to keep this player.
Harry Amass has been a regular in the first-team squad this season and has been named in the squad a few times. However, he has yet to be used in the Premier League by Ten Hag, even when United are struggling at left-back.
According to the British press, coach Ruben Amorim believes that Harry Amass has "great potential" and is suitable for his tactics. Therefore, he decided to give the young talent born in 2007 a chance in the near future.
Harry Amass is still training with the Man Utd first team. If he impresses coach Ruben Amorim, the left-back could be included in the squad to face Ipswich Town on November 24, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia still sidelined through injury.
In addition, MEN newspaper said that coach Ruben Amorim is also considering bringing 16-year-old midfielder Bendito Mantato to train with the first team. This player is quite versatile as he can play in many different positions in midfield. That shows that coach Ruben Amorim has faith and is willing to experiment with Man Utd players.

In other developments, coach Ruben Amorim is keen to bring 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon to Man Utd. Recently, the player born in 2007 has just renewed his contract with Sporting Lisbon. In particular, his contract release clause has increased from 38 million pounds to 84 million pounds.
Sporting Lisbon do not want to negotiate this deal. Therefore, if they want to own this 17-year-old player, Man Utd must spend 84 million pounds to release the contract. That is a record transfer fee for a 17-year-old player. Geovany Quenda has just debuted in the first team of Sporting Lisbon this season and has quickly broken many records at the club.
