Coach Luis de la Fuente: "Spain is the best team in the world"

In the Euro 2024 final that took place early this morning (July 15), Spain defeated England 2-1. The match took place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (Germany).

After this match, coach Luis de la Fuente spoke up: "I am really happy, Spain has just affirmed its position as the number one team in Europe. I am proud of what we have just done."

"Even for me, Spain is the strongest team in the world . I am proud to say this to football fans around the world, to those who love Spanish football," added coach Luis de la Fuente.

The Spanish team won Euro 2024 with a perfect record. They are the second team in Euro history (after France in 1984) to win all matches (in 120 minutes) in the Euro finals.

According to Luis de la Fuente, the Spanish team will even play better in the following years, playing better than themselves at Euro 2024.

The coach of the Spanish team shared: "The advantage of the team I am coaching is that they are always improving. The Spanish team currently has very good players."

"We always need to improve and progress to be better than ourselves. That is our advantage," affirmed coach Luis de la Fuente.

As for Mr. Luis de la Fuente himself, he has just completed the treble in European football championships, at different levels. Before winning Euro 2024 with the Spanish national team, Mr. Luis de la Fuente won the U19 and U21 European championships, with the Spanish team.
