Commenting on the away team, coach Kim Sang Sik highly appreciated the three newly naturalized players including Klein, Roman Angot and Victor Ngovinassack, emphasizing careful preparation for changes in the opposing team's lineup.

Referring to Group F, Coach Kim Sang Sik affirmed that the goal is to win a ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals, so the matches with Laos and Malaysia are extremely important. "We must score many goals in the first half," Coach Kim Sang Sik emphasized.
Regarding Xuan Son's absence, coach Kim Sang Sik confided: "Maybe many people regret it, but Son is recovering well. In the match against Laos, I believe Tien Linh will do his job well."
Also present at the press conference, striker Tien Linh expressed his determination: “The first match is not easy, but Vietnam is preparing the best. We will try our best to win for the fans.”
