The match between Manchester United and the ASEAN All Stars will take place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium. The event is part of MU's summer tour in 2025. Touring Southeast Asia has been a tradition for Premier League clubs in the summer of recent years.

The match organizers have also announced ticket prices for this match, with 7 prices ranging from 50 RM (over 290,000 VND) to 1,500 RM (over 8,700,000 VND).

“It is a great honor to lead the best players from ASEAN countries in a match of such importance,” said head coach Kim Sang-sik. “We are not only representing our countries but also showing the world the pride, spirit and strength of the region.”

“Coach Kim Sang-sik is a symbol of progress and professionalism. His leadership will inspire not only the players in the team, but also a whole generation of players and fans,” said AFF President Khiev Sameth.

The ASEAN All-Stars Team will consist of top players selected from all 12 AFF member associations. Vietnam is expected to have at least one player participating. This activity will not affect the training process of Vietnam and Malaysia during the FIFA Days in June and the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Mr. Kim returned to Vietnam last night (April 9) to start his work of watching V.League, following old faces and selecting new personnel for the Vietnam team.
