Binh Duong Club coach resigns after losing to Hanoi

Sharing at the press conference after the match, coach Nguyen Cong Manh said: "As the leader, I take responsibility. I have self-respect. I told the leader that I was ashamed so I quit to let someone else take my place and help the team get better."

Coach Nguyen Cong Manh is the next strategist to leave the head coach position after Velizar Popov (Thanh Hoa) right in the 2024/25 V.League season. Binh Duong Club's leadership received comments from Coach Cong Manh but has not responded yet. The club will make an official announcement in the next few days.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Manh, born in 1982, is a former player of Song Lam Nghe An. He was an assistant at Binh Duong Club and was promoted to head coach to replace Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan in December 2024.

Binh Duong Club under the leadership of Mr. Manh has won a ticket to the semi-finals of the National Cup and will have at least one bronze medal.
