(NLĐO) - Runners participating in the VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 will receive free admission to the historical sites of Hue, worth a total of 1.15 million VND per person.

On the morning of April 6th, the VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 took place in Hue City with the participation of 12,000 domestic and international athletes. This is the second race in the VnExpress Marathon series organized by VnExpress Newspaper andFPT Online Services Joint Stock Company in 2025.

The starting point for this year's race is located on Le Duan Street, in the Phu Van Lau area, in front of the Hue Imperial Citadel. Athletes in the 5km, 10km, and 21km races will finish on Le Duan Street, at the intersection with Nguyen Trai Street (Nha Do Gate) in Phu Xuan District. Athletes conquering the 42km race will finish on To Huu Street, opposite the Hue City Sports Center in Thuan Hoa District.

Each distance at the VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 is a unique experience. The Full Marathon (42 km) starts first at 3:00 AM, the 21 km race starts at 4:00 AM, and the 10 km and 5 km races will start at 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM respectively.

The VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 aims to contribute to promoting the sports movement in Hue City in particular and Vietnam in general, thereby helping to promote the image of the ancient and dreamy city of Hue to the running community both domestically and internationally.

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, the projected number of visitors to Hue City during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday in 2025 (April 4-7) is approximately 105,000. Of these, an estimated 38,000 will be overnight guests, with an estimated occupancy rate of 85%. Specifically, the occupancy rate for reservations on April 5th reached nearly 95%, and on April 6th nearly 90%, with estimated revenue of 214 billion VND.
