Accordingly, at around 7:00 a.m. the same day, Major Do Manh Cuong, an officer of Traffic Police Team No. 3, Hanoi Traffic Police Department, was assigned to work in the area when he discovered many pieces of broken glass scattered on the road, posing a potential danger, especially for motorbikes.
Faced with the situation, Major Cuong quickly went into the house to borrow a broom and tools, and directly cleaned up each piece of glass. After only about 10 minutes, the entire area was cleaned, and vehicles were safe to move again.
Witnessing this action, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, who passed by the area, said: “The glass is very sharp, if a car runs over it, it could blow a tire and cause loss of control. Fortunately, the traffic police were able to clean it up in time, otherwise the consequences would have been unpredictable.”
Mr. Quang Dao - a social network user shared: "The image of traffic police officers not hesitating to do anything, personally cleaning up every piece of broken glass on the road to bring safety to traffic participants, demonstrating responsibility and spirit of serving the people."
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Hong Giang, Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 3, said: "During their duties, officers and soldiers not only regulate and direct traffic but are always ready to handle situations that arise on the road, ensuring safety for the people."
