Candidates wearing Ao Dai present projects in VietScript Lab program
This is an important presentation to select the owners of projects and film scripts to be awarded by the organizing committee at the Ho Chi Minh City International Film Festival (HIFF) 2024.
Project Market and Script Incubator Awards Coming Soon
Specifically, the public presentation of the Script Incubator project (VietScript Lab) took place all day.
After nearly a week of working and receiving suggestions from experts, the young writers and directors will present their scripts to a jury of prestigious filmmakers of Vietnamese cinema. The potential story can completely become a film in the future.

Meanwhile, the Project Market at HIFF also takes place in parallel. The Project Market is inherited from Autumn Meeting led by producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc.
The program attracted 56 projects from many countries to select 10 projects, including 5 art film projects and 5 entertainment film projects. Notably, there was also a project sent by the director of the Korean film Suddenly Winning the Lottery.
This year's HIFF Project Market is supported by the French Cinema Agency (CNC).
After intense presentation rounds, the Project Market and Script Incubator will award prizes on the evening of April 12.
Continue outdoor screenings
On the evening of April 11, at Cine Park in Saigon riverside park, Thu Duc city, there was a screening of the film Buffalo Wool Season by director Nguyen Vo Nghiem Minh.
On the evening of April 12, a meeting between the film crew of Hundred Billion Ghost Dog and the audience is scheduled to take place here. Attendees will include producer Vo Thanh Hoa, producer - marketing director Mai Bao Ngoc, director Luu Thanh Luan, executive producer Dung Dang and screenwriter Quoc Nguyen.

At the show, the crew also introduced two upcoming projects, Linh Luc and Kinh Kaleidoscope, produced and directed by Vo Thanh Hoa, respectively.
Within the framework of HIFF, outdoor film screenings and artist exchanges took place every evening from April 7 to 12. The event attracted thousands of audiences in Ho Chi Minh City as a new and interesting entertainment and cinema experience.
