Positive effects from the competition

After nearly 6 months of launching the Quiz Contest "Learning about places, historical figures and directives and resolutions of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee in 2023", it has contributed to creating an important spiritual motivation for the Party Committee, government and people to strive to successfully implement the Party's Resolutions, determined to build Binh Thuan province to develop more and more.

The multiple-choice contest "Learning about places, historical figures and directives and resolutions of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee in 2023" was launched by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department from February 3, 2023 to July 23, 2023 with 12 exams (2 weeks/1 exam). After nearly 6 months of launching, the contest has had a great influence, attracting nearly 115,000 test entries both inside and outside the province. Contestant Nguyen Thi Bich Loan - teacher at Lac Dao Kindergarten, Phan Thiet City said that this is a very meaningful contest, so she took advantage of her time after teaching hours to participate in the contest. With basic historical knowledge and investment in researching documents, directives, and socio-economic information of the province, candidate Bich Loan's multiple-choice test was of good quality and won a high prize in the 8th exam. In addition to the enthusiastic response and participation of cadres, party members, armed forces soldiers, students and people from all walks of life in the province, the contest also attracted many contestants from provinces and cities across the country, such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Vinh Long, Soc Trang... At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 12 first prizes; 12 second prizes; 12 third prizes and 24 consolation prizes to the winning individuals, along with certificates and bonuses.

Comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said: This year's contest has a wide spread, the number of contestants is somewhat superior, achieving some better results than last year. The number of exams is smaller but the length of time has created conditions for contestants to have more time to research documents, carefully prepare answers and supplementary questions to participate. In addition, the setting of questions has also changed compared to last year, the exam questions have rich and diverse content, not overlapping with previous years, creating new knowledge for contestants, not boring. The contest is a broad political activity, one of the practical activities to propagate Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought to cadres, party members, civil servants, officials, union members, association members and people, especially the young generation; Place names, historical figures of Binh Thuan province, resolutions and directives of the Provincial Party Committee to implement the Resolution of the 14th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025). Thereby, helping cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people grasp the core content, understand more deeply the Party's guidelines and policies, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership and the State's management and administration.

According to the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Vo Thanh Binh, based on the results of the 2023 contest, it is expected that in the following years, especially in 2025, a year with major anniversaries of the country and Binh Thuan province, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department will organize a contest to learn about Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, and the history of the local Party in a suitable and practical form. Thereby, contributing to improving political capacity, ideological stance, and steadfastness in the goal of national independence associated with socialism; affirming the Party's correct leadership over the nation's revolutionary cause, consolidating people's trust in the Party's leadership, the State's management and administration, creating a driving force to promote the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress.
