Kindergarten principal investigated for embezzlement and misuse of funding

On October 14, according to a source from Dan Tri reporter, the Investigation Police Department of Dong Hai District Police (Bac Lieu Province) has just decided to prosecute Ms. Le Kim Hue (53 years old), Principal of Sao Bien Kindergarten, to investigate the crime of Embezzlement of property.

Initially, it was determined that Ms. Hue had appropriated and personally used money donated to the school by a company in Binh Duong transferred to the female principal's personal account.

Previously, Dong Hai District Police announced that they had received a request for prosecution with the following content: Some units and individuals who had contracts or agreements to provide goods, services, construction works, etc. with Sao Bien Kindergarten transferred more than 300 million VND to Ms. Hue's personal account.

Ms. Hue did not report this amount to the group and was not transparent.

Of which, a company in Binh Duong transferred more than 226 million VND and other individuals transferred nearly 78 million VND.

"Authorities are waiting for damage assessment to continue handling according to regulations," the reporter's source said.
