The Principal of Foreign Trade University reminds students not to forget the privilege of youth 'trial and error'

On April 6, Foreign Trade University held the graduation ceremony for the first batch of 2025 for nearly 1,300 full-time university students of the 60th course and additional courses at the Hanoi headquarters and Quang Ninh campus.

Of these, 32.4% of students achieved excellent results, 47% of students achieved good academic results, the total number of students graduating with excellent and excellent results reached nearly 80%.

The first batch of graduates of 2025 have demonstrated their outstanding efforts in their studies at the school, as most of them completed their study program within 3.5 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of Foreign Trade University - said that this is the most special class of students in the school's 65-year history, when nearly 4 years ago they had to attend an emotional online opening ceremony due to the impact of COVID-19.

According to him, the COVID-19 pandemic has posed an unprecedented challenge, forcing teachers and students to change their approach to knowledge, interaction, and adaptation to a volatile world.

However, in this special situation, the students have matured in their own unique way - learning to adapt flexibly, discovering their own abilities, nurturing innovative thinking, forging a strong will and cultivating responsibility, not only for themselves but also for the community.

"I am extremely proud that most of the new graduates sitting here have excellently graduated half a year earlier than the normal study schedule.

The difficulties did not make them falter, but on the contrary, they tempered their mettle and gave them more motivation to rise up stronger and more resilient than ever," said Mr. Tuan.
