(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of October 24, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held a ceremony to announce and hand over the retirement decision to receive social insurance benefits to Mr. Ha Xuan Hung, Principal of the University of Labor and Social Affairs.
The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) chaired the ceremony and presented the decision.
At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Tran Thi Thu Hang announced Decision No. 1020/QD-LDBXH of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on retirement to enjoy insurance benefits for Mr. Ha Xuan Hung, Principal of the University of Labor and Social Affairs, from November 1, 2024.

Also according to this decision, the Minister temporarily assigned Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh, Vice Principal and Director of Campus II, to be in charge of the school from November 1, 2024, until a new decision is made.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and dedication of Principal Ha Xuan Hung to the education career of the Ministry, especially in enhancing the reputation of the industry and the University of Labor and Social Affairs.
The Minister commented that Principal Ha Xuan Hung is a person with many creative and innovative ideas in management. During his 10 years as Principal, Mr. Hung has always maintained solidarity and made important contributions to the overall development of the University of Labor and Social Affairs, and has been trusted and credited by the leaders of the Ministry as well as generations of staff, lecturers and students.

"The achievements that the University of Labor and Social Affairs has achieved are thanks to the great efforts of the collective, staff, civil servants and teachers in the school, including the significant contribution of Principal Ha Xuan Hung," the Minister acknowledged.
Assessing the development process of the University of Labor and Social Affairs, the Minister happily said that through many stages, the school has made steady progress and developed strongly, with spacious facilities, a team of highly qualified staff and lecturers, and solid academic titles and degrees. The school's enrollment scale and training quality have been constantly improved.
"A very good thing is that after graduation, students can find jobs immediately, with high incomes, suitable to their abilities and knowledge," said the Minister.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung expressed his hope that with his experience, Mr. Ha Xuan Hung will continue to support the University of Labor and Social Affairs to maintain its brand and develop further. He hopes that the successor of Rector Ha Xuan Hung will continue to maintain the stability and development of the University of Labor and Social Affairs.

"Building a brand is difficult, but maintaining and developing it is even more difficult. Therefore, in addition to maintaining strong industries, schools need to focus on training industries that are at the forefront of domestic human resource development trends.
At the same time, schools need to closely follow the needs of the labor market and focus on training and fostering highly qualified staff and lecturers," the Minister emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Xuan Hung was moved to express his gratitude to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Minister and leaders of the Ministry and units who have always cared for and created conditions for him to successfully complete his tasks.
