Redefining the focus and methods of information technology training
The important academic forum attracted the participation of more than 100 delegates, including scientists, education managers, technology experts, and lecturers from many universities and research institutes across the country, to discuss advanced trends in information and communication technology (ICT) and AI training.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh - Principal of the University of Information Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) - emphasized: "The workshop is an opportunity to discuss and answer the questions: Do we still need to train information technology? Should we continue to train programmers? Is that still really necessary in the AI era?".
Ms. Tu Anh said these are concerns not only of training institutions, but also of common concern to society.
Therefore, the school wishes to listen to diverse opinions, in order to redefine the training focus, approach and practical actions to meet the needs of the times.
