The effectiveness of the "Security and order keychain" model in Ward 4, My Tho City

In 2022, the Ward People's Committee established the Ward 4 digital technology team and 11 community digital technology teams (CNSCĐ) in the neighborhood with a total of 40 members. Over the past 2 years, the Ward 4 CNSCĐ team has actively applied scientific and technological solutions to support the local digital transformation process.

Due to the fact that contacting the ward police and the ward People's Committee is sometimes difficult because people do not remember the phone number or do not know how to report information, the CNSCĐ team has collaborated with the ward police to build the "Security and Order Keychain" model. This is an initiative to help connect the government with the people through a technology platform.

Members of the CNSCĐ team gave 250 keychains to residents in Ward 5, each keychain has two QR codes printed on it. One code leads to the Zalo OA page of the ward police, the other code leads to the Zalo page of Ward 4 People's Committee. In addition, the keychains also have the on-duty phone number of the ward police so that residents can contact them in case of emergency.

Through QR codes, people can update propaganda information from the government and reflect issues related to security and order as well as socio- economic issues quickly and easily. People's reflections are then forwarded to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and the Ward Police Command for timely handling.

The results from the model show that, up to now, Ward 4 police have received 11 valuable reports on security and order, while the Ward People's Committee has handled 21 reports related to socio-economic issues. The coordination between the CSCD team and the ward police continues to be promoted, aiming to replicate this model to the remaining neighborhoods in the ward, creating an effective information channel between the people and the government.

The launching ceremony of the "Security and Order Keychain" model in June 2024 marked a new step forward in the work of protecting security and order in Ward 4. The local government hopes that through this model, people will continue to seriously implement the policies of the Party and the State, join hands to build a civilized lifestyle, and protect security and order in the locality.
