Tien Yen Town is the urban center of Tien Yen District with many business, trade and service activities developing strongly in recent years, leading to many potential risks of complicated security and order. Therefore, immediately after being launched and consolidated, the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level actively coordinated and supported the Town Police to synchronously deploy professional measures. Especially, strengthening closed patrols in the area, diversifying channels to continuously grasp all developments in residential areas, in order to prevent and promptly resolve problems arising in the community, not allowing complicated developments to occur.
Typically, in February 2025, the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level coordinated with the town police and Hai Lang commune police to discover and arrest a suspect who stole a motorbike from a local resident. Through investigation and verification, the suspect confessed to his illegal act and was handled according to the law. The motorbike was also returned to the people, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the forces tasked with protecting security and order.
In Hai Hoa Ward (Mong Cai City), the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level since its establishment has always actively participated in propaganda, raising the spirit of fighting and denouncing crimes among the people; supporting neighborhoods in managing and educating people who have violated the law and are residing at the grassroots level. At the same time, this team also strictly implements the patrol and coordination regime to ensure security and order, traffic safety; actively participates in the work of managing people, household registration, checking temporary residence and temporary absence information, not allowing bad guys to take advantage of the area to conduct illegal activities. And most importantly, maintaining 24/7 readiness to respond to situations of supporting fire prevention and fighting, rescue, and rescue... as soon as mobilized by the ward police.
At the end of March 2025, 8 individuals from Hai Hoa Ward Police and the force participating in protecting security and order at the Hai Hoa Ward grassroots level received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Mong Cai City People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in protecting security in the area. Specifically, during a night patrol, the forces discovered and arrested a subject possessing "crystal" drugs in a plastic bag carried on his person. Through the statement, the authorities urgently arrested a subject residing in Binh Ngoc Ward for the crime of illegal drug trafficking, seizing many exhibits at his private home. This achievement has contributed significantly to ensuring good social order and safety at the grassroots level.
Up to now, Quang Ninh has established enough forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, basically meeting the requirements of the task of supporting the commune-level police and participating in building the movement of All people protecting national security. Many members have many years of experience in previous civil protection committees, and now continue to participate with a high sense of responsibility. All levels also pay attention to training and improving the professional skills of the team participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, so that this force is strong enough, operates effectively, and excellently completes the assigned tasks. The training content focuses on providing basic knowledge of the law, patrol and control skills, skills in handling security situations, mass mobilization work, fire prevention and fighting, crime prevention, etc. These occasions are also forums for discussion and sharing of practical experiences in the process of working in the locality.
It can be said that the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level are generally upholding a sense of responsibility, being close and attached to the grassroots level, and closely coordinating and supporting the police at the commune, ward and town levels throughout the province in performing their tasks.
