Provincial Tourism Association deploys tasks for the last 6 months of the year

On the morning of June 28, Ninh Binh Tourism Association held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year. Attending the conference was Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association.

The Provincial Tourism Association currently has more than 120 members, participating in all areas of restaurants, hotels, destinations, and travel. In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Tourism Association has focused on improving governance and development orientation; doing a good job of advising the Department of Tourism on strategies, planning, and development plans, creating favorable conditions for tourism organizations and businesses to develop.

The Association also coordinated to implement many effective tourism promotion and advertising activities such as: organizing booths at the VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair 2024, Ninh Binh tourism promotion conference in Quang Ninh. Coordinated with the Vietnam Tourism Association to organize training courses and seminars on reducing plastic waste in the tourism sector associated with developing green tourism.

Propaganda and mobilization of members, organizations and individuals doing business in the tourism sector to respond to and participate in events; continue to invest and innovate tourism products and services; ensure the quality of tourism services during holidays, Tet, and major events of the province. Activities of linking with localities and improving the quality of human resources are effectively implemented.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the advantages and difficulties for tourism service businesses today such as the issue of linkage, electricity prices, the situation of tourist vehicles carrying passengers demanding "commission" causing difficulties for travel businesses, restaurants, etc.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Tourism Association continued to promote propaganda and mobilize members to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on tourism activities; participate in a number of fairs such as: ITE-HCMC International Tourism Fair 2024; VITM Da Nang International Tourism Fair 2024.

Organize for Executive Committee members to visit, survey and learn from experiences in some provinces in the Red River Delta and neighboring areas; monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of programs and services registered to participate in the stimulus to ensure quality, safety and efficiency according to the set criteria; at the same time, actively apply information technology in tourism activities.
