In a joyful and exciting atmosphere with entrepreneurs nationwide, on the afternoon of October 12, the Provincial Business Association held a meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day and receive the Third Class Labor Medal.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, branches, localities; Provincial Business Association; Business Associations of districts, cities and many typical enterprises in the province.
Established in 2009, the Provincial Business Association has continuously grown in quantity and improved in quality. Currently, the Association has attracted more than 3,000 member businesses across the province.
As a common home, gathering the strength of businesses and entrepreneurs in the province, the Association has promoted the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, and together supported and contributed to the sustainable development of the province as well as the whole country.
During the economic recovery period, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with active support from the Central to local levels, the efforts, high determination, dynamism and creativity of the business community, production and business activities of enterprises in the province have recovered and developed again.
Enterprises twinned with communes with special characteristics according to Decision 140 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee have excellently completed their tasks, and at the same time brought 100% of communes with special characteristics across the province to meet new rural standards.
The Provincial Business Association is also a "right-hand man" accompanying the provincial authorities to effectively carry out social security and humanitarian work. In particular, member businesses have donated hundreds of gratitude houses; thousands of Tet gifts to families in difficult circumstances throughout the province; and actively supported funds with an amount of up to hundreds of billions of VND.
At the meeting, authorized by the President, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to the Provincial Business Association for its outstanding achievements in building and developing enterprises in Ninh Binh province, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, he also presented a bouquet of fresh flowers, wishing the Provincial Business Association to grow stronger and stronger, and together with the whole province to successfully achieve socio-economic goals in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the great efforts of the business community and entrepreneurs in the whole province in recent times.
He affirmed: The business community in general and the Provincial Business Association in particular have made important contributions to the economic - cultural - social development, promoting economic growth, creating jobs, and stabilizing people's lives in the province.
During the economic recovery period, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the business community and entrepreneurs still demonstrate the spirit of companionship, sharing, and joining hands with the province to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals.
In 2022, the province completed and exceeded 15/15 socio-economic development targets, GRDP economic growth rate reached 8.62% (exceeding the target), per capita income increased, ranked 12th/63 provinces and cities nationwide, becoming a province that balances its budget and has regulation to the Central Government...
Such impressive and comprehensive results are the important contributions of the team of businesses and entrepreneurs in the province. Ninh Binh businesses have built a brand nationwide and reached out to the world.
Sending congratulations on the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Business Association continue to strengthen its organizational structure; better perform its task as a bridge between the business community and State agencies; mobilize the business community to proactively transform digitally to increase production and business efficiency and competitiveness, respond flexibly in the new situation; continue to make important contributions to help Ninh Binh develop more and more rapidly and sustainably.
