Freshwater bathing system at Cua Lo beach will be operational before April 10

According to the direction of Vinh City People's Committee, tourist services such as fresh water showers, parking lots and public toilets will be free during this year's tourist season.

The implementing unit is Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company. Currently, this unit is synchronously implementing many items to ensure Cua Lo beach area is clean, beautiful and convenient before entering the peak season.

Speaking to reporters, a representative of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company said: "We have mobilized 400 workers, divided into teams to work continuously, combined with dozens of specialized vehicles and machines to ensure that the items are completed on schedule. Although according to the city's direction, the deadline for completing the items is April 15, the unit strives to complete before April 10, ensuring that tourists can use free services right from the beginning of the tourist season."

After reclaiming and taking over the old freshwater bathing spots, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company encountered some difficulties in upgrading the system.

According to initial assessment, many old pipes are degraded, the water supply system is unstable, leading to weak water flow and leakage. This requires replacing the entire pipe system, and installing additional booster pumps to ensure stable water pressure for visitors.

Company representative shared: When receiving the old system, we realized that the infrastructure had seriously degraded due to long-term use by residents. To ensure the best service quality for tourists, the company decided to upgrade the entire system of pipes, faucets and add tanks to maintain a stable water supply.

This work generated more work than expected, but the unit is still committed to completing it on time. Speeding up the progress of the free fresh water shower system not only contributes to improving service quality but also creates a highlight for Nghe An sea tourism in 2025.

Along with completing the free fresh water shower system, in recent days, workers have been cleaning the beach, the park grounds, leveling the sand, renovating the electricity and water systems, marking parking spots, beautifying public restrooms, taking care of trees, creating a cool, clean space ready for the tourist season.

It is expected that by April 10, visitors to Cua Lo beach will experience a cleaner, more convenient beach space, contributing to promoting the development of the local tourism industry.
