At 7:00 a.m. on March 3 (Vietnam time), the 97th Oscar Awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles, USA.
Ahead of the prestigious film event organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, chefs have revealed some of the dishes that will be served to diners at the pre- and post-award parties.
Preparing for a feast of this magnitude requires elaborate planning. The culinary team stocked up on 80 beef sirloin steaks for the beef Wellington, 1,200 truffle chicken pies, 1,000 servings of macaroni and cheese, and 3,000 handmade chocolate Oscar statuettes.
What's special about the Oscar party?
According to Westside Today , famous Austrian-American chef Wolfgang Puck is one of the people directly preparing the dishes for Governors Ball - Hollywood's most magnificent post-Oscar party.
Guests including Demi Moore, Timothée Chalamet, Adrian Brody and Cynthia Erivo will be treated to a lavish menu featuring Wolfgang Puck's signature dishes.

Chef Wolfgang Puck shared: "The biggest challenge was the organization. We wanted to make sure the food served to 1,000 guests was as good as it would be to four people.
To do this, he and his team of 100 chefs and 400 service staff are ready to bring a classy culinary experience.
Before the awards ceremony begins, guests can enjoy light refreshments in the Dolby Theatre.
Canapés served on site include spicy tuna tartare, Wagyu beef mini burgers, smoked salmon matzo balls with caviar, cauliflower toast and mushroom dumplings with peas.

All dishes are designed to be simple and frugal to match the elegant attire of the guests.
After the Oscars are awarded, most guests will flock to the Governors Ball.
Chef Wolfgang Puck revealed that this year's menu is quite diverse, with about 30-40 main dishes and dozens of desserts.

“We will be offering a variety of delicacies such as Peking duck according to my mother's recipe, beef stew, smoked salmon, caviar, smoked salmon pizza, truffle chicken pie, macaroni and cheese...”, said Wolfgang Puck.
In addition, the menu also includes vegetarian dishes such as mushroom pasta and mixed vegetable rice to serve guests with special diets. Diners can enjoy fine wines, champagne or tequila cocktails.

All ingredients are carefully selected. Most come from farms in Southern California (USA), while some premium ingredients are imported from abroad.
