At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council discussed and gave opinions on 34 reports and 47 specialized Resolutions in various fields, ensuring the stability and development of the province in 2025 and the following years.

At the same time, 47 Resolutions directly related to people's lives and the development of the province were discussed and voted to pass, such as: Resolution approving the settlement of local budget revenue and expenditure in 2023; Resolution approving the estimate of state budget revenue and expenditure in 2025; Resolution regulating prices of medical examination and treatment services for state medical examination and treatment facilities under the management of Nghe An province; Resolution on land policy for ethnic minorities living in Nghe An province; Resolution approving the Project to recognize Thai Hoa town as meeting the criteria of a type III urban area; Resolution on the results of reviewing the QPPL resolution issued by the Provincial People's Council in 2024; Resolution on the socio-economic development plan in 2025; Resolution on the public investment plan in 2025; Resolution on assigning civil servant positions in administrative agencies and organizations of Nghe An province in 2024; Resolution on the total number of employees receiving salaries from the budget, contract workers in public service units that have not yet ensured regular expenses and organized associations in 2025; Resolution on merging, naming, and renaming hamlets; Resolution on investment policies, adjusting investment policies of projects.

Thus, after two days of active work, the 25th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, has completed all the contents of the proposed program. The session discussed the situation and results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, state finance - budget, public investment in 2024 and passed the Resolution on the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate, budget allocation plan, public investment plan in 2025 of the province.

In his closing speech, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Nghia Hieu requested that immediately after this session, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels, sectors, localities and units, according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers, proactively organize and implement to ensure that the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council soon come into life and achieve effectiveness.

The Provincial People's Council discussed and reviewed the report on the results of thematic supervision and passed the Resolution on the results of 3 years of implementing the public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 of Nghe An province (from 2021 to 2023). The Provincial People's Committee is requested to promptly develop a plan, seriously implement the Resolution to achieve high efficiency; periodically report the results to the Provincial People's Council.

The Provincial People's Council will continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of its operations in the direction of accompanying and responding quickly to the requirements and demands of the province's development. 2025 is also the year near the end of the 2021 - 2026 term of the Provincial People's Council. The Provincial People's Council requests that the delegates continue to uphold the spirit and responsibility in performing their duties as delegates; review their Action Program that they have promised to voters, the things they have done, the things they have promised to voters but have not done in order to be determined to pursue to the end the resolution of voters' legitimate opinions and aspirations; thereby strengthening the trust of voters and the People.
