Provincial People's Council (10th term) closed the 20th session: Passed 12 resolutions

* Agree to resolve salaries and benefits for employees of Quang Nam Medical College before January 31, 2024

(QNO) - Today, January 23, the Provincial People's Council closed the 20th Session after completing the contents according to the proposed program and unanimously passing 12 resolutions.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates spent a lot of time discussing the report of the Provincial People's Committee's Executive Committee. on issues related to Quang Nam Medical College and unanimously vote on the settlement of salaries and policies for employees of this unit before January 31, 2024.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council agreed to assign the Provincial People's Committee to resolve the payment of salaries and related regimes according to Resolution No. 36 dated December 8, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council and report to the Provincial People's Council at the nearest meeting. The Provincial People's Council also agreed to spend funds to support the General Hospital of Quang Nam Medical College due to the impact on its operations when the province requisitioned the hospital to serve the work of admitting and treating COVID-19 patients for 4 months (from February to May 2022).

In his closing speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Xuan Vinh said that the resolutions passed by the session promptly concretized legal provisions; adjusted and supplemented them in accordance with reality and the policies and directions of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee; creating a legal basis for the organization, deployment and implementation of local political tasks in 2024 and the following years.

After the meeting, the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently direct and guide the implementation so that the resolutions can come into life; at the same time, strengthen propaganda and information work so that all levels, sectors and people can join hands and unite to implement the resolutions to achieve the highest results.

The Provincial People's Council requests the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Delegation Groups and the Provincial People's Council delegates to report the results of the session to the people and voters where the delegates are running for election in appropriate forms; closely monitor the enforcement of the law and the implementation of resolutions in the locality. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations actively mobilize the people to well implement the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.
