Dai Loc District People's Council continues to improve efficiency in all activities

On December 19 and 20, Dai Loc District People's Council held the 19th session to assess the socio-economic, national defense and security situation in 2024 and discuss directions and tasks for 2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh attended the session.

At the meeting, delegates actively discussed and questioned the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in 2024; directions, goals, tasks and solutions in 2025.

Many outstanding issues such as the progress of basic construction projects, land management, sustainable poverty reduction, and resolution of voters' petitions were also raised by delegates for questioning.

Leaders of the District People's Committee and representatives of specialized departments and offices directly answered and clearly explained the contents that delegates and voters were interested in.

With a high sense of responsibility, the delegates of Dai Loc District People's Council voted to pass 15 important resolutions closely related to people's lives and the development of the district.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council informed about some outstanding socio-economic situations of the province in 2024, the activities of the Provincial People's Council during the year with the issuance of many important resolutions in the fields of socio-economic development, ensuring social security in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung also highly appreciated the results and efforts that Dai Loc district achieved in 2024. At the same time, he acknowledged the spirit, responsibility and efforts of the Dai Loc District People's Council in issuing many important and practical resolutions, playing a good role as an important bridge between the province and the locality in concretizing the implementation of mechanisms and policies and promptly recording and conveying the voices, thoughts and aspirations of voters and people to the functional agencies of the province and the district.

Noting the solutions, orientations and plans for Dai Loc to achieve the set goals, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized: 2025 is the final year to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term with many key tasks requiring acceleration and breakthroughs to successfully implement the set goals and tasks.

This is also the year to promote the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus; it is also the year for the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to strive to achieve achievements to celebrate important events and anniversaries of the country and the nation. Therefore, the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dai Loc district need to focus on research, discussion, and continue to promote solutions and orientations for development plans.

Dai Loc district needs to focus on reviewing the socio-economic development targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 22nd District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; synchronously implementing solutions to promote economic growth; well implementing land planning and management; diversifying and improving the quality of investment promotion, making efforts to remove difficulties for businesses, and ensuring revenue sources.

The locality needs to pay more attention to effectively implementing national target programs, including the national target program on poverty reduction and production development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas when the disbursement rate in these programs is still low. Strive to increase the growth value of the district, contributing to ensuring the overall growth target of the province.

“The district needs to closely follow the policies and directions of the Central Government and the province, proactively implement to ensure the arrangement and streamlining of the state apparatus. Promote the completion of institutions; promote the application of information technology, strive for digital transformation in handling administrative records and procedures, and improve the satisfaction of people and businesses.

Continue to care for and look after people's lives; carry out well the work of "repaying gratitude", taking care of people with meritorious services, poor households, ensuring social security. Continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of the District People's Council in carrying out political tasks and developing the local socio-economy; issued resolutions need to be monitored promptly and regularly to avoid wasting resources" - Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung directed.
