Ho Chi Minh City Development Commercial Bank (HDBank, ticker: HDB) has just announced to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) the results of its bond issuance. Accordingly, on December 24, 2024, HDBank issued 1,000 bonds with code HDBL2427028, each with a face value of VND 1 billion; corresponding to an issuance value of VND 1,000 billion. With a term of 3 years, this bond issue is expected to mature on December 24, 2027. Also on December 24, 2024, HDBank issued bond issue HDBL2431029 with an issuance value of VND 500 billion. This bond issue has a term of 7 years, expected to mature on December 24, 2031. Just one day earlier (December 23, 2024), HDBank successfully issued 1,150 bonds with code HDBH2429027 to the domestic market. Each bond has a face value of VND 1 billion, with a total issuance value of VND 1,150 billion, a 5-year term, and is expected to mature on December 23, 2029. Prior to this, HDBank also raised VND 850 billion through the issuance of 850 bonds with code HDBL2426026. With a 2-year term, this bond issue is expected to mature on December 20, 2026. Conversely, between December 22, 2024 and December 23, 2024, HDBank repurchased the entire bond issue with code HDBL2125017 one year ahead of schedule. Reportedly, this bond issue has a face value of 1 billion VND per bond, with a total issuance value of 600 billion VND, and is expected to mature on December 22, 2025. Regarding HDBank's business performance, after 9 months of 2024, the bank recorded pre-tax profit of 12,655 billion VND, an increase of 46.6% compared to the same period last year, reaching 79.8% of the full-year plan. As of September 30, 2024, HDBank's consolidated total assets were 629,000 billion VND, and outstanding loans were 412,000 billion VND, an increase of 16.6% since the beginning of the year.
