At the event, each group performed a performance with the following genres: Then singing, Tinh lute, Then dance and Thai Xoe art, revolving around the theme of praising love for homeland, country, people, and the beauty of religious life imbued with the cultural identity of the Thai people.

In recent years, Lai Chau province has focused on preserving and promoting Thai ethnic folk arts through many specific programs, projects and plans.

In particular, the Then Singing Festival - Tinh lute and Thai Xoe art is a highly effective cultural activity, receiving enthusiastic support from the Thai ethnic community and people in the province.

Many potential artists and actors have also emerged from here, becoming important factors in promoting the beauty of Thai and Lai Chau ethnic culture at competitions and exchange stages in the region and nationwide.

This festival is a practical activity to celebrate the major holidays of the country and Lai Chau in 2024; an opportunity for artisans and mass actors in the province to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences.

The festival also contributes to enhancing the honor, promotion, preservation, inheritance and development of the Then practice heritage of the Tay, Nung, Thai people and the Thai Xoe art recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; strengthening the education of patriotic traditions, consolidating the great national unity bloc, and promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
