Yesterday (August 7), the German team sent a third offer worth 86 million pounds to Tottenham in an effort to recruit Harry Kane.
However, Spurs immediately rejected it because they still could not meet the 100 million pound figure they requested.
The Gray Tigers' negotiating team also doesn't have much time left to "bargain" with their partners because Harry Kane has just set a transfer deadline of the end of this week.
According to Telegraph , Kane confirmed that he will not leave Tottenham after the 2023/24 Premier League starts.
Therefore, the German team needs to reach an agreement with Tottenham before August 12, even though there is a gap between the two sides in the valuation of the striker who is about to turn 30.
Chairman Daniel Levy remains firm at the negotiating table despite the fact that they could lose Harry Kane for free next summer when his current contract expires.
They invited the England striker to sign a contract extension with a salary of 400,000 pounds/week, but Harry Kane was not interested.
As for Bayern Munich, the club's director of scouting flew to England twice to negotiate but without results.
The reigning Bundesliga champions are determined to sign Harry Kane and plan to make a final offer in the next 48 hours.
