The scholarship program is organized by Muc Tim publication - Tuoi Tre newspaper, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, sponsored by Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company.

Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony were journalist Tran Gia Bao - deputy editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, Mr. Doan Van Truong - deputy secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, Mr. Le Duy Nam - deputy head of business department, Binh Dien - Ninh Binh Joint Stock Company (under Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company), Mr. Trieu Minh Xiet - permanent deputy secretary of Muong Lat District Party Committee, Mr. Mai Xuan Giang - vice chairman of Muong Lat District People's Committee - and hundreds of students of Muong Lat High School.
Although the scholarships were not awarded until the afternoon of November 30, at 11:00 a.m. the same day, 20 students from Quan Hoa and Quan Son districts were brought to Muong Lat town by the District Youth Union. Everyone was eager to receive their scholarships.

Vi Thi Thanh Ba, a 12A4 student at Quan Hoa High School, from Bat village, Nam Dong commune, Quan Hoa district, who is visiting Muong Lat district for the first time, smiled and confided: “I am very happy to receive a scholarship from Muc Tim publication – Tuoi Tre newspaper. I have never received a scholarship worth 5 million VND before. I will use this scholarship to cover my study expenses and prepare for the high school graduation exam in 2025.”

Mr. Luong Van Phuc - Deputy Secretary of Quan Son District Youth Union - took 10 students from this district over 100km to Muong Lat quite early to receive scholarships.
The group spent time visiting Muong Lat town.

“Immediately after receiving information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union and Muc Tim publication – Tuoi Tre newspaper about the For the Future of Vietnam scholarship, the District Youth Union coordinated with the Quan Son High School Youth Union, Quan Son Secondary School – High School to select the profiles of 10 poor students who overcame difficulties to study well to come to Muong Lat to receive the scholarship. In addition to the scholarship, the organizing committee also supported the students with travel expenses on the day of receiving the scholarship” – Mr. Luong Van Phuc said.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Doan Van Truong - Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union - shared that Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union has been actively searching for and mobilizing many resources to provide practical support for disadvantaged youth.
The Vietnam Future Scholarship is one of the programs that has been maintained to support students in difficult circumstances for many years. This is not simply a matter of awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, but also demonstrates the traditional beauty of “mutual love” of our nation.

“Today’s scholarships will help to fuel the faith and strength of poor students to have more determination and confidence in their studies and in life,” said Mr. Doan Van Truong to the students who have just received scholarships.

Nearly 5,000 scholarships for poor students
From 2013 to present, the Scholarship Fund for the Future of Vietnam of Muc Tim publication - Tuoi Tre newspaper, with the sponsorship of Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, has awarded nearly 5,000 scholarships, totaling nearly 11 billion VND to high school students in 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region; Ho Chi Minh City and 5 provinces in the Southeast region; provinces in the Central Highlands, South Central, North Central regions and the Northern mountainous provinces.
In 2024, the Scholarship Fund for the Future of Vietnam will continue to award 200 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well in 5 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Binh Phuoc, Kien Giang and An Giang, each scholarship worth 5 million VND.
