As a young person, an association officer, I have participated in many propaganda and educational activities of the Youth Union and Association. Especially activities such as: "March Border Month", propaganda about the sea and islands of the homeland, social security, launching to protect the marine environment, participating in the journey "I love my Fatherland" ... make me feel that youth is more meaningful. In particular, being lucky to be selected to participate in the journey "Ha Tinh Youth with the sea and islands of the homeland" makes me feel even more honored and proud.
This is an opportunity for me and my fellow Youth Union members to have a valuable experience. We will meet the island soldiers to better understand their hard work, as well as their efforts and endeavors, thereby seeing our greater responsibility in every work and action to contribute to building our homeland and country. A peaceful mainland will also be the driving force for a peaceful island.
We will also make more efforts in socializing resources to continue supporting equipment and facilities, to support officers and soldiers working on Son Duong Island, helping them feel secure in their work, contributing to the cause of protecting the sea of the Fatherland and to build Son Duong more firmly!

The journey “Ha Tinh Youth with the sea and islands of the homeland” is a meaningful program of the youth, both responding to the campaign “Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers” and arousing the love and responsibility of the young generation for the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland. This is one of the visual and vivid forms of education to help union members and young people understand more about the sea, islands and national borders. From there, it adds enthusiasm for the youth to constantly strive, work, contribute, protect national sovereignty, and build and develop the homeland and the country.
From these valuable experiences, as a Youth Union officer, we will continue to spread to the majority of Youth Union members and children in the province about the love for the homeland and gratitude to those who are guarding the sky and sea day and night so that each of us can live in peace.
Hopefully, in the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union of the province and the district, town and city youth unions will have more meaningful journeys like this so that the young union members will have more opportunities to better understand the beauty of the homeland's sea and islands, to better understand and love their homeland and country.

I was very surprised to be honored to be one of the typical Youth Union members participating in the journey “Ha Tinh Youth for the sea and islands of the homeland”. As a member of the Youth Union and a young artist, when participating in the journey, I will join the Youth Union members to bring songs to the officers and soldiers on Son Duong Island. Hopefully, this spiritual gift will help the officers and soldiers dispel the hardships and difficulties in the working process and bring the atmosphere of Tet early to the island.
With those lyrics and singing, I wish the officers and soldiers to always be strong and brave, to always complete their assigned tasks excellently, and to protect the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands. Those are also the most affectionate feelings of the youth of the whole province sent to the beloved sea and islands, and also the message that: Although geographically far away, Son Duong island in particular and the islands of Vietnam in general are always very close - in everyone's heart.

Participating in the journey “Ha Tinh Youth with the Homeland’s Sea and Islands” was the first time I set foot on Son Duong Island. Therefore, as soon as I heard that I was one of the delegates of the journey, I was very excited and looked forward to the departure day.
I am always aware that the mission of the young generation is to strive to protect and preserve the sovereignty of the country's borders and islands; therefore, I always actively participate in marine environmental sanitation activities, painting competitions, propaganda about the sovereignty of islands and seas, making utensils from recycled plastic materials, and actively spreading to everyone the message of preserving and protecting the sacred islands and seas.
Participating in this journey, I believe that not only me but every Youth Union member feels a greater responsibility, to continue to strive to study, to devote their youth to protecting the borders and islands, to contribute to building and developing the homeland and the country. This will be a beautiful memory, a beautiful story for me to spread to my friends, the Youth Union members in the Youth Union of Cam Xuyen High School to connect closer the emotional bond between the mainland and the islands, between the young generation and the armed forces who are day and night firmly holding their guns, keeping the sea and sky peaceful.
The journey "Ha Tinh Youth with the sea and islands of the homeland" in 2024, organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in coordination with the Provincial Military Command, is expected to take place on January 30, 2024 at Son Duong Island, Ky Loi Commune (Ky Anh Town). It is expected that about 100 delegates will participate in the journey. Along with the provincial leaders, the journey will have the participation of nearly 70 delegates who are key union officials of the whole province, outstanding union officials, members, and youth in various fields... The journey is expected to include the following activities: propaganda about national sovereignty, seas, islands and the responsibility of youth in the task of building and protecting the Fatherland; exchanges, visits and encouragement of officers and soldiers performing tasks on the island; inauguration and handover of youth projects of Ha Tinh youth on Son Duong island... |
