On April 28, Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports welcomed a total of more than 186,000 passengers, a significant decrease compared to April 27, the first day of the April 30-May 1 holiday.

Statistics from Noi Bai International Airport show that on April 28, the second day of the April 30-May 1 holiday, domestic passengers decreased significantly, down 10,000 passengers compared to yesterday, while the number of international passengers remained at a similarly high level.

According to the flight plan, on April 28, there will be more than 84,000 passengers (49,000 domestic passengers, 35,000 international passengers) and 490 flights (253 domestic flights, 237 international flights) taking off and landing at Noi Bai International Airport.

“It is expected that in the next 1-2 days, the transport volume will continue to decrease slightly until the last day of the May 1 holiday, when it will increase again,” said the leader of Noi Bai International Airport.

In the South, the leader of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that the number of passengers passing through the airport on April 28 also "cooled down" compared to yesterday.

Specifically, Tan Son Nhat Airport welcomed 658 flights (327 departures and 331 arrivals) with a total of 102,401 passengers (including 55,858 departures and 46,543 arrivals).

“The number of passengers passing through Tan Son Nhat Airport on April 28 decreased by 13,000 people compared to the previous day (April 27 reached 115,673 passengers),” said the leader of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports also encourage passengers to check in online, limit family members from seeing them off at the airport; prepare all personal documents, carefully read the airline's regulations on transportation requirements; proactively check in early before departure time (arrive 2 hours before departure time for domestic flights, 3 hours before departure time for international flights); use public transportation instead of using personal vehicles to reduce pressure on car parking lots at airports...
