(Dan Tri) - Knowing that the couple had just given birth to their second child and that life was still difficult, the landlord couple in Dong Nai came over every day to give them rice, meat, fish, etc. to nourish them.

"When the landlord found out I gave birth, he brought meat and she brought fish over. Warms the hearts of the tenants," the caption of the video posted on social media touched many netizens, attracting more than 1.2 million views.

Ms. T. (29 years old) said that she and her husband have been renting in Tam An commune, Long Thanh town (Dong Nai province) for more than 4 years. They have a 5-year-old first child and have just given birth to a second child.

During her maternity leave, Ms. T. could not work, so all the family expenses fell on her husband's shoulders. He had to work at the company and take advantage of his shift to work outside to earn money to take care of the family.

"My hometown is in the Central region, so it's inconvenient to travel. I don't want to bother my parents, so I decided to stay in a rented room to take care of my husband and children. Life is difficult and unstable. Being far from home sometimes makes me feel sad, but luckily the landlord loves me," said Ms. T.

The female worker confided that this was not the first time she had received help from her landlord and his wife.

"Whenever there is fish, vegetables, meat or any delicious food, the landlord brings it over for my husband and I. During Tet, if we don't go back to our hometown, the landlord also invites us to come over to celebrate Tet together for fun," the female worker said.

According to Ms. T., the landlord and his wife used to make a living by farming. They borrowed money to invest in opening a boarding house, and have not yet paid off the debt. Although they are not well off, the landlord always loves and helps the workers living there.

In the comments section of the video, many people expressed that they were also treated well and helped by the landlord during difficult days.

"When I gave birth, the landlord often came to visit and gave me nutritious food. He also bought a health insurance card for my child. Now I'm no longer there, and he's been gone for 2 years. Thinking back makes me so sad...", TG shared.

"Landlords with difficult pasts often love their tenants because they understand the situation of poor workers. Hopefully other landlords will love their tenants like in the clip," another account wrote.
