Hundreds of students compete in scientific research at the FPT Edu ResFes 2024 finals

52 teams with more than 150 students participated in the final round of FPT Edu ResFes 2024 on August 17-18 at FPT Edu Hanoi in 5 sub-committees: Information Technology, Economics - Business Administration, Multimedia Communications, Digital Design and Language.

The teams presented their research to a panel of expert judges at FPT Edu ResFes.

Each team competes with a scientific research report, developed according to the topic of the subcommittee that the team has chosen and revolving around the main theme: "Experience: Dare to Succeed". At the final round of FPT Edu ResFes 2024, the reports are presented in English. Team members can discuss and ask questions with the expert judges in each subcommittee to complete their research.

These experiences help FPT Edu students gain more knowledge, experience and scientific research skills. Many groups continue to develop and expand their scientific research, becoming quality reports published in ISI/Scopus journals. Among the scientific reports of FPT Edu students published in ISI/Scopus journals, many research papers have participated in FPT Edu ResFes.

The scientific research of the teams at the FPT Edu ResFes 2024 final round will be evaluated by international experts and FPT Edu lecturers and researchers. Among them, Associate Professor Thuong Hoang, Deakin University (Australia) and Professor Level 1 - Thanis Tangkitjaroenkun (Thailand University of Technology) will participate in the judging panel of the Information Technology and Language sub-committee, in addition to being speakers in the final round.

The best teams in the final round of FPT Edu ResFes 2024 received many prizes with a total value of more than 350 million VND.

Choosing the theme "Experience: Dare to Succeed", FPT Edu ResFes 2024 not only aims to attract quality scientific reports but also creates opportunities for participating teams to improve their knowledge and research skills.

During the competition, many workshops were organized with the participation of FPT Edu lecturers, lecturers - researchers as speakers, sharing experiences, exchanging support for members of the competing teams to improve their learning and research capacity.

Students have many interesting scientific research and exchange experiences at FPT Edu ResFes.

FPT Edu ResFes is a scientific research competition for students organized annually by FPT Edu. Starting from a playground focusing on scientific research in the field of information technology, over the years, FPT Edu has expanded its scale and the number of specialized subcommittees.

FPT Edu ResFes has discovered many students with good research ability, becoming the starting point for many scientific researches to be published and developed. Thereby, the competition contributes to encouraging and developing the scientific research movement in the community of students, FPT Edu students in particular and young people in general.

At the same time, FPT Edu ResFes also aims to be an international standard scientific research event, aiming to nurture high-quality research, applying modern technological trends, which can be widely published and practically applied.

The FPT Edu ResFes 2024 Final Round was held at FPT Edu Hanoi. The teams participating in the final round are all students from FPT Edu units: FPT University Hanoi, FPT University Da Nang branch, FPT University Can Tho branch, FPT University Ho Chi Minh City branch, FPT University Binh Dinh branch, Greenwich Vietnam Hanoi campus, Greenwich Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City campus, Greenwich Vietnam Da Nang campus, Greenwich Vietnam Can Tho campus, Swinburne Vietnam Hanoi campus, Melbourne Polytechnic and BTEC FPT in Hanoi, FPT International Training Institute.

Previously, the competition attracted 163 teams equivalent to more than 400 contestants to register after more than a month of launching, setting a record for the number of registrations over the seasons.
