According to Tuoi Tre Online , from 7 p.m., the roads leading to 9 Fairies Park and Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac Square had thousands of people and tourists from inside and outside the province.
Ha Tien City organizes many activities to serve tourists. Along the route at Tran Hau Park is an exhibition area with nearly 200 photos of Ha Tien past and present, the achievements of Ha Tien City's socio-economic development; the book street at Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac, readers can learn more about many genres of books.
The route is for tourists to enjoy local specialties. Along with that, at Tran Hau Park, there is a calligraphy activity of the calligraphy street, with the theme "Southern calligraphy street" with the participation of 9 calligraphers from provinces and cities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chin - Chairman of Ha Tien City People's Committee - informed that 288 years ago, on the full moon day of the first lunar month of the year Binh Thin (1736), General Admiral Tran Ha Tien Mac Thien Tich held a flower lantern festival to establish Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac.
Tao Dan was evaluated by historians and literary researchers as the second largest Tao Dan in the country at that time, and was the place where Ha Tien literature flourished with famous literary works of the time. Since then, Ha Tien has been considered one of the cradles of Southern literature.
The festival "celebrating the founding of Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac" aims to remind and encourage people to raise awareness and responsibility to preserve and promote the cultural values of their homeland and the Vietnamese people.
"Ha Tien wishes to continue introducing the images, characteristics, historical and cultural traditions of the country and people of Ha Tien to tourists near and far.
The festival is also an opportunity for investors to meet, exchange and seek opportunities for themselves and together with the locality to effectively exploit the potentials and advantages that nature has bestowed on this land," said Mr. Chin.
