On the opening day, visitors will experience the Kho Gia Gia Festival - the first event in a series of golden season festivals in Ban May.

Kho Gia Gia Festival is a traditional harvest festival of the Black Ha Nhi people, held before the harvest season, praying for the gods to bless a bountiful harvest and a prosperous village.

Despite being one of the smallest ethnic groups in Vietnam, the Black Ha Nhi people still preserve their unique cultural features. In particular, in Ban May, all the lifestyles of this ethnic group are recreated in their most original form.

From the architecture of the windowless rammed earth houses that look like mushrooms, to the traditional costumes, lifestyle, and the custom of worshipping the sacred stone considered the “kitchen god/master” who keeps the fire in the house from ever going out…

The tray of offerings on the Kho Gia Gia festival of the Black Ha Nhi people makes many tourists curious.

The festival is a rare opportunity for visitors to witness a solemn sacrificial ceremony performed by the Black Ha Nhi people themselves to show their respect to the god of agriculture, the god of the forest, the god of water, the god of the earth and the god of love.

Besides the ceremony, the exciting festival of swinging, merry-go-round, spinning tops... also received enthusiastic response from tourists.
At the end of each day at the festival, visitors not only bring back beautiful photos but also countless unforgettable memories. Ms. Lan, a tourist from Hoa Binh, excitedly shared: “Ban May is wonderful, filled with the golden color of rice and paddy, everywhere is brilliant with flags and flowers welcoming September 2. This is the first time I have experienced such a unique festival. The ethnic people are really enthusiastic and hospitable”.

This is an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the simple but joyful and happy atmosphere of the highland village.
Ban May, hidden at the foot of Fansipan Mountain at the cable car station of Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area, is the unique cultural center of the "Ban May Golden Season" Festival.
