On January 3, Dong Xoai City Police, Binh Phuoc Province, is consolidating files to handle 15 cases of organizing "storming" after the victory of the Vietnamese team over Thailand at the ASEAN Cup 2024.

Police force temporarily detained many violating vehicles

Previously, at around 10 p.m. on January 2, after the first leg final match between Vietnam and Thailand (ASEAN Cup 2024), the Traffic Police Team of Dong Xoai City Police was deployed to patrol and handle traffic law violators. At this time, the task force discovered many "speed demons" preparing to "go crazy" so they conducted administrative checks.

A case was severely punished as a deterrent.

Through inspection, the working group handled 15 cases of motorbikes arbitrarily changing their structure, some cases of drivers using alcohol, not being of age, not having a driver's license... Among them, some subjects also drove with the exhaust pipe revving, driving on one wheel... endangering road users.

The Traffic Police Team of Dong Xoai City Police has drawn up a record to temporarily detain all vehicles and confiscate 1 motorbike according to Decree No. 168/2024 regulating administrative penalties for violations in the field of road traffic, deducting points, and restoring driving license points, which has just taken effect from January 1, 2025.
