Recently, Michelin announced 5 restaurants in Hanoi and 8 restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City that have just achieved Bib Gourmand standards in 2024. The second edition of the Michelin Guide in Vietnam will include restaurants in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and is expected to be officially announced on June 27 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ahead of the official announcement of the full list, Michelin has revealed a list of 42 Bib Gourmand restaurants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, including 13 new restaurants and 29 restaurants that were recognized in 2023.
Bib Gourmand is a title given to restaurants that offer good quality at affordable prices.

Five new restaurants in Hanoi appeared on the Bib Gourmand list: Bun Cha Chan, Luk Lak, Dong Thinh Eel Vermicelli, Mr Bay Mien Tay and Pho Khoi Hoi. In Ho Chi Minh City, eight restaurants appeared for the first time: Banh Xeo 46A, Bo Kho Ganh, Bun Bo Hue 14B, Man Moi (Thu Duc City), Nha Tu, Tiem Com Tho Chuyen Ky, Vi Que Kitchen and Sol Kitchen & Bar.
The 2024 Bib Gourmand lists for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City include seven categories: Vietnamese cuisine, noodle dishes, contemporary European cuisine, street food, vegetarian cuisine, Cantonese cuisine and Latin American cuisine. This is a testament to the diverse culinary characteristics of both cities, where there are many delicious dishes at affordable prices.
