Vietnam Airlines in the top 10 best international airlines in 2023

Vietnam Airlines has officially entered the top 10 best international airlines in 2023 by Bounce, a US-based luggage storage service company operating in more than 1,000 cities around the world.

To come up with the rankings, Bounce experts analyzed, compared and scored 60 global airlines based on criteria such as the number of on-time flights, the number of cancellations/delays, the quality of services provided on board, in-flight meals, seats, staff service points, ground support...

According to Bounce's announcement, topping the list of best international airlines this year is Japan Airlines.

This is followed by Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways in second and third place respectively.

In the top 10, in addition to Vietnam Airlines and the three airlines mentioned above, there are other airlines, including Korean Air, Vistara, All Nippon Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Air India, Azul Airlines and Emirates.

In terms of overall score, Japan Airlines was given 8.28 points by experts. In particular, the Japanese airline achieved 4/5 points for meal quality, seat comfort, staff service and in-flight entertainment.

In terms of on-time arrivals, this airline also achieved a record number of 88.36%.

Singapore Airlines scored 7.63 and had the lowest cancellation rate among the 60 airlines reviewed, at just 0.03%, tied with Iberia Airlines.

Previously, in the World Airline Awards, an annual award by the international air transport rating organization Skytrax, Singapore Airlines was honored as the world's best airline for 5 consecutive years. This is also the airline that Skytrax rated as reaching 5-star standards.

Coming in third with a score of 7.5, Qatar Airways has one of the lowest cancellation rates among international airlines, at just 0.33%, but is also one of the busiest, operating flights to more than 150 destinations around the world.

At the World Airline Awards, this airline also won the Best Business Class award 10 times. Vietnam Airlines tied for 10th place with Emirates, with a total score of 5.16 points.
